Wildwood Training

 

I have worked as a trainer for over 10 years.  See below for my qualifications.  I offer training services to individuals, groups and organisations.  Training can be run at your own venue or from venues local to Swansea and Gower.  I run practical, interactive and informative training in several related areas:

Sustainable Woodland Management

Orchard Pruning

Arboriculture

Forest Garden Introduction

Permaculture Introduction – normally a two day course

Full Permaculture Design course – 72 hours in a two week block or can be run as one weekend per month for 6 months.

Tree Nursery Skills (Horticultural techniques using organic principles)

 

 

 

 

My Qualifications

I have run my own woodland management business for over 10 years and hold the Certificate in Arboriculture.  I have undertaken many related short courses and  some RHS modules.   My work  includes coppice management, orchard pruning, sustainable management plans, small tree pruning, tree planting and hedgelaying.  I have worked as a trainer for Coeden Fach Community Tree Nursery (Swansea) since 2008.

I hold the Permaculture Diploma (accredited through the Permaculture Association).  I am now registered as a Diploma Tutor. I completed a Permaculture Design Certificate Course in 2000 (Green Adventure, London) and I also completed the Earth Activist Training with Starhawk at Ragman’s Lane in 2006.

I have a qualification in training adult learners – PTTLS
